Introduction to Phu Quoc National Park 

The area of ​​Phu Quoc National Park is up to 314km2, accounting for about 54% of the pearl island area (Phu Quoc Island area is 573km2). This place stretches across the territory of many communes and wards of Phu Quoc city including Ganh Dau, Bai Thom, Cua Can, part of Cua Duong, Ham Ninh, Duong To and Duong Dong. Where is Phu Quoc National Park? Directions 

Phu Quoc National Park is located in the northeast of Phu Quoc island, about 13-21.7km from the center of Phu Quoc island district. To get to this location, you can choose a personal vehicle, taxi or go in a large group. 

If you want to visit Phu Quoc National Park, you need to prepare about 35 minutes because the distance from Phu Quoc center (Duong Dong Town)  to this forest is 21.7 km. 

Accordingly, when traveling by car or motorbike, the easiest way is to follow the August road for about 1.6 km, then take Provincial Road 973 (DT973) and go north about 13.1 km to reach the gate area of ​​Phu Quoc National Park (at the Xom Moi ranger station). 

However, after that you have to go another 8km to reach the primeval forest area. 

You should only choose to move on your own if you have enough experience traveling on forest roads. If not, choose to go on a tour to ensure safety and have a safe experience.
