Where is U Minh Thuong National Park is probably a question of many people. This garden covers an area of more than 21,000 hectares in An Minh Bac commune and Minh Thuan commune, U Minh Thuong district.
In 2006, the park was confirmed as one of three important areas of the World Biosphere Reserve in the coastal and sea areas of Kien Giang. This is the first place on peat land in the area to become Vietnam’s 5th ASEAN Heritage Park in 2012. By 2015, this place was recognized as the 2,228th Ramsar site in the world and the 8th in Vietnam.
